Your data goes in first
The models work on your material — your lab data, your draft, your sources. Never the other way around.
The name is the mission: AI, used well enough to be worth all 45 points.
Every DP student already uses AI. Almost none have been taught how — which tool fits which task, where assistance ends and misconduct begins, how to declare what they used. Schools ban, students hide, and the actual skill goes unlearned.
ai45 takes the opposite bet: teach the four tools that matter — Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini — properly, criterion by criterion, with the IB's own integrity policy on the table the whole time. Learn them well and none of it is cheating. That's not a loophole; it's the point.
The models work on your material — your lab data, your draft, your sources. Never the other way around.
Every prompt we publish asks for critique, questions, or verification. If a prompt would write your sentences, we don't publish it.
School policy beats our advice, every time. When in doubt, declare the assistance and ask.
Undeclared use is. The IB's own guidance doesn't ban AI tools — it requires that assistance be acknowledged and quoted material cited, like any other source. Everything ai45 publishes is built for the declared side of that line: critique, verification, and technical assistance on your own material.
Assume yes — and make it boring. A one-sentence declaration of what you used and for what turns "detection" into a non-event. The students who get referred are the ones who hid trivial assistance, not the ones who declared it.
Your school's, always — that's Rule 3. Every guide here ends with the same instruction: check the school policy, and when in doubt, ask the teacher before you submit, not after.
They cover the four jobs DP work actually involves — technical building (Claude), drafting and critique (ChatGPT), cited research (Perplexity), and working over your own data and documents (Gemini). Tools change; the four jobs don't.
The guides, prompts, SAT bank and forum are free. Workshops are free during beta. If that changes, existing accounts keep what they have.
